To get your desired obliques you need some very good exercises with right technique. Today i will tell you 2 best exercises for your oblique to get in shape & if your diet is good your obliques will get shredded.




1.) STANDING CABLE OBLIQUE ROTATION


Standing cable oblique rotation is not basic exercise but advanced movement. I like this exercise most because it totally involves my obliques & no other muscle. If you are a beginner & doing this exercise first time may be you won't get it right but eventually you will. Once you get this exercise correct, you will get your desired obliques.

HOW TO DO IT?


Fix pulley at you shoulder level in cross over cable machine. Stand sideways in front of machine. Pull cable towards your face & in a way as if you are punching into something. Now perform the movement to 180 degrees till you feel the contraction in your obliques.

Than return back to starting position & do this same movement repeatedly. Now Repeat the same movement on opposite side.


Make sure your back is straight & exhale while performing the exercise & inhale while relaxing(or when returning back to starting position).

2.) LANDMINE OBLIQUE TWIST


Landmine oblique twist is also advanced exercise for your obliques. It may be advanced but anybody can do this exercise, its quite easy to do. This exercise also involves your shoulder but oblique is major involving muscle. Before doing this exercise make sure your back is straight & breathing in sync... This exercise also helps in giving your body good balancing.

HOW TO DO IT?


Take a full size Olympic rod & put one side of rod at the corner of your gym & hold other side in your both hands. Your feet should width apart & your hands should be straight extended. Now twist the rod to your right & than to your left. Make sure you squeeze your obliques as much as possible to get the contraction.


Perform this exercise until your obliques gets all pumped up.
