Obliques are the muscle that are really very difficult to develop. If your body fat is low than it will be more easy for you to develop your oblique muscle but if you are chubby or fat i will recommend to first loose some extra weight & than work for your obliques. Most important, your diet. which plays very important role if your are focusing on your obliques or core muscle.


Now about that "LOOSING EXTRA WEIGHT", don't think that if you do oblique exercise than you will get shredded oblique muscle. No, that's not gonna happen, that's not how it works. There is nothing like spot reduction. You need to loose your weight overall to get your goal. Well if we talk about obliques, these are one of the most attractive muscles in your body. They make your body look shredded all over & gives an outstanding look.


Today i will be telling you about 2 best exercises for your obliques & will definitely make your obliques look more ripped.



1.) TWISTING LEG RAISE


Twisting leg raise is best exercise if you want to grow your oblique muscle fast. It gives great stability to your body. Not just stability but helps in body balancing. There are many variations to do this twisting movement but today we will talk about twisting movement on parallel bar.

HOW TO DO IT?


- Hold on to parallel bar stand with your back supported

- Now we have to do same movement like leg raises but with a twist while moving your leg upward.

- When you bring your legs up, make a twist from your oblique to the right & than to the left, to perform it properly. (JUST A SIMPLE & NORMAL TWIST)

- Make sure your back is straight & breathing in perfect sync...

- keep repeating the movement until your obliques gets all pumped up.

- Do not perform this exercise if you are having any lower back issues.

2.) SIDE CABLE CRUNCHES


Side cable crunch is personally my favourite exercise. It gives me great contraction in my obliques. Makes my oblique more engage than any basic exercise. Well i would say that this exercise is basically all about right technique & positioning.

HOW TO DO IT?


- Place a mat on floor in front of cable pulley

- Connect a handle to a high level cable pulley

- The weight should be light or moderate

- Now sit on mat in sideways holding handle on cable pulley with one hand.

- Now pull handle downwards in crunching motion towards your side thigh.

- Make sure to engage your obliques throughout the movement.

- You must exhale before starting the movement & your breathing should be in perfect sync...

- Repeat this movement until your obliques gets all pumped up.
