Like i said in my previous blogs that the size of your arm is defined by triceps. Everybody wants triceps to look huge & shredded. Many people tends to injure there elbows while doing triceps workout & i think the major reason for that is lifting too heavy in triceps workout or not doing with proper technique.


If we talk about triceps i will definitely say that do start your triceps workout with light weight & any triceps stretching exercise so that it will warm-up your triceps thoroughly & your joint(ELBOW). So today i will tell you about 2 exercises that will surely make your triceps in more better shape. The joints are very sensitive in working out. If you are weight lifter i would suggest to warm-up properly & do full body stretching to avoid any kind of injury.




1.) OVERHEAD EXTENSION WITH ROPE


Overhead extension is very basic exercise for your triceps & that's why we will do this exercise on cable cross over. Doing this movement on cable cross over will make your triceps more burn because of the continuity in the movement. Your triceps are continuously working without any rest, which makes it even more challenging & more effective. The movement will be partial, making your triceps fully stretch.

HOW TO DO IT?


- Stand in a backward position, so that your back is facing cable cross machine.

- Fix rope at the bottom of the pulley.

- Grab the rope with both hands & extend your arm directly above your head.

- Make sure that your elbows will be wide open & not close.

- Pull rope upward towards the ceiling.

- While going upward make sure your palms will go in opposite direction to give your triceps more stretch.

- Exhale while pulling the weight & inhale while going back to rest/starting position.

- Keep repeating the movement until your tricep gets all pumped up.

2.) ONE-ARM TRICEPS EXTENSION ON INCLINE BENCH


One-arm triceps extension is one of those exercises in which people injure there elbows. Just by lifting too heavy or they don't know the right technique. One-arm triceps extension movement is really very effective movement. All you need is light weight & your triceps will literally explode. If you want amazing shape in your triceps i will definitely suggest this exercise at least once a week. Doing one arm triceps extension in incline just increases the intensity of muscle breakdown.

HOW TO DO IT?


- Take light weight according to you.

- Lie down on incline bench.

- Position your elbow upwards.

- Now bring dumbbell in the direction of your shoulder.

- The movement will be partial, no need to open your arm fully extended.

- Repeat the movement until your triceps get all pumped up.
