Forearm is really a must muscle that a guy should definitely have. Strong forearms makes your work easy. whether we talk about daily work or any exercise. It doesn't matter what you do in gym but if your forearm is strong, u can lift heavy weights easily & can also increase your strength. I would say strong forearms makes your upper body strong.


There are quite some exercises for your forearms but its all about your goal like:-


What type of forearm you want?

Do you want shredded forearms or bulky?

So, today i will tell you 2 exercise that will make your forearm bulky & shredded at the same time.


1.) REVERSE WRIST CURL


Reverse wrist curl is one of the best exercise for your upper forearm. There is no resting position in this movement but just a continuous motion. I like this movement most because only your upper forearm is getting most contraction & your wrist also gets involved which makes it stronger. It improves the mobility of your wrist. Reverse wrist curl can be done with dumbbells, rod, or on cable cross machine. I prefer cable cross machine because of the engagement of your forearm constantly.

HOW TO DO IT?


- Fix pulley at the bottom of cable cross machine.

- Stand holding rod in reverse grip.

- Now pull rod at your elbow level & hold it right there. (FOREARM SHOULD BE PARALLEL TO THE GROUND).

- Now move your wrist up & down in reverse motion as much as you comfortably can.

- Repeat the movement until your forearm gets all pumped up.

2.) FOREARM HAMMER CURL


Forearm hammer curl is easy exercise but you need to be careful while doing it because if anything goes wrong, you might injure your wrist. The position of the movement is very important & moreover make sure you use moderate weight not heavy weight. Many people neglect small muscles like forearms & calves but if you want to make them grow big & shredded than you need to work some extra for that muscle.

HOW TO DO IT?


- Take light weight dumbbells in your both hands.

- Now bring them up at your elbow level in hammer motion(YOUR FOREARM SHOULD BE PARALLEL TO THE GROUND).

- Now move/tilt your wrist up & down to start with the movement.

- The movement should be proper.

- Keep repeating this movement until your forearm gets all pumped up.
